Fashion-forward engagement shoot at The Ned, London

Annie and Scott’s professional lives take them around the globe, but at home in London, The Ned takes a special place in their heart. They love the architecture, style and vibe of the hotel - and it’s easy to see why it’s such a great fit for this fashion-forward couple. When they asked us to do their engagement shoot at The Ned, we jumped at the idea, knowing something special lay ahead.

Sunny autumn engagement shoot in the City of London

London is an incredibly special place on a sunny day. The light falls between buildings, creating pockets of light and shadow. Along the river the light get stronger, reflecting off the water. It was a glorious early autumn day when we met Rose and Scott for their engagement in the City of London - full of light and joy. Starting at Tower Hill, we wandered the streets of the city together, stopping at few of our favourite places along the way - the Trinity Square Four Seasons Hotel, St Dustan-in-the-East and finally walking along the Thames bank.

Hampstead Heath and the Pergola engagement shoot

Bryony and Lush were keen to have their engagement shoot at Hampstead Heath in London - during the lockdown it was one of their favourite places to walk when they needed a bit of an escape. We suggested meeting at the Pergola, which they’d never been to before. We lucked out with a beautiful early spring day of sunshine and shadow on the Pergola, before heading into Hampstead Heath just before sunset.

Engagement shoot in Joshua Tree, California

When Hector and Madai said they wanted to rent a classic car and have an engagement shoot in the Mojave Desert around Joshua Tree, I could not have been more excited. It was a glorious time - not only because of the picture perfect Californian vibe, but seeing the way these two interacted - their love and strength of relationship. ⁠

Chic Chelsea couple shoot

London is an incredible city for engagement and couple shoots. The vast variety of neighbourhoods means there is a location to match every personality and style. We met up with Priscilla and Josh, a couple as classically chic as Chelsea itself. This springtime London couple shoot is packed full — love, fun and dancing in the street — combined with colourful houses, cherry blossoms, magnolia blooms and of course, classic London backdrops. The results, a mix of 35mm Kodak Portra 400 and digital photos, do not disappoint!

Classic City of London Engagement Shoot

The City of London might be best known as London’s historic financial district, but it also makes for an unexpectedly beautiful location for an engagement shoot. Neoclassical buildings contrast with modern skyscrapers, while hidden gems like St. Dunstan-in-the-East bring a hint of magic to this part of London.

We spent an evening with Catherine and Daniel, marking their engagement with a photoshoot exploring some of the City’s most charming spots.

London has such incredibly beautiful parks. They can transport you outside of London completely, making you feel like you’re in a beautiful English country estate. Holland Park is exactly like this - it’s beautiful gardens and lush greenery can make you forget the city on the other side of its walls.
