Sunny autumn engagement shoot in the City of London

London is an incredibly special place on a sunny day. The light falls between buildings, creating pockets of light and shadow. Along the river the light get stronger, reflecting off the water. It was a glorious early autumn day when we met Rose and Scott for their engagement in the City of London - full of light and joy.

Starting at Tower Hill, we wandered the streets of the city together, stopping at few of our favourite places along the way - the Trinity Square Four Seasons Hotel, St Dustan-in-the-East and finally walking along the Thames bank. This is one of our favourite areas in London for the mix of classic London architecture combined with the romantic old church ruins. Along the way we talked and laughed with Rose and Scott - we really just cannot wait for their summer wedding to come - what a celebration of joy and fun that will be!
